Why did Laura Bates start the Everyday Sexism project?
Laura Bates started the project as she herself experienced sexual assault and cat calling from men when she was out in public. She wanted to get as many women's stories as possible to raise awareness of these issues.
How does the Everyday Sexism project link to the concept of post-feminism? Is feminism still required in western societies?

Feminism is still required in western society as from Laura Bates talk we learn that the jobs are still not as diverse between men and women as we perceive them to be. Feminism is still required as sexual assaults is still an on going thing and considered normal by some people also, the statistics are also very high for the amount of womenb that have faced cat calling or sexual assault.

Why was new technology essential to the success of the Everyday Sexism project?

Technology is vital as this allows many women to speak out about their past or current assaults they have faced in their lives.

Will there be a point in the future when the Everyday Sexism project is not required? What is YOUR view on the future of feminism?

In my opinion, there should be talks given specifically directed towards men by women who have been a victim of sexual assault, this is necessary so the men can hear they impact these kinds of stuff have on women and learn to either respect or stand up for anyone (despite gender) who is been assaulted. I believe that Everyday Sexism Project will have an impact on some peoples lives as it will either raise awareness or help people guide through what and how they should react if they encounter such situations
